Intragastric Balloons

An Orbera® or Spatz® gastric balloon sits in the stomach to assist you with weight loss.

Is diet and exercise not giving you the results you want? When it comes to weight loss we understand that not one size fits all.

An intragastric balloon takes up approximately one third of the stomach. The balloon limits what you can eat, allowing you to develop sustainable healthy eating habits. Our team of specialists take a holistic approach with medical management, dietetic and psychology input. Combined with a healthy diet and exercise, this is the secret to long-term weight loss.

The balloon remains in the stomach for either 6 or 12 months. Browse our intragastric balloon packages to see which plan works best for you.

What is an Intragastric Balloon?

A silicone (latex free) balloon is endoscopically placed into the stomach for either 6 or 12 months. The balloon takes up approximately one third of the stomach which reduces stomach volume, delays gastric emptying and stimulates stretch receptors in the stomach which signal satiety. Combined with a healthy diet and exercise, this programme facilitates significant weight loss.
